Dr. Nancy Nehawandian has taken over 2,700 hours of continuing education and passed several exams in various disciplines as a cosmetic dentist in order to earn a mastership and four fellowships. Dr. Nehawandian was also awarded a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). To achieve this status, a dentist must document their successful dental implant cases, complete a minimum of 75 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, submit a letter of reference from another ICOI fellow, and complete an additional 75 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry with 5 years of receiving the fellowship.
A leader in the field of Comprehensive Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr. Nancy Nehawandian has also achieved the status of “LVI Fellow” after completing over 300 hours of continuing education in advanced aesthetics and neuromuscular science at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. This places her among the 1% of cosmetic dentists in the United States who have achieved this honor. She also followed her LVI fellowship with a fellowship from the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetic (FIAPA).
She achieved her fourth fellowship with the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthotics (FICC0MO) after passing an exam demonstrating her thorough understanding of the treatment of TMJ dysfunctions.
She’s also started a fellowship with the International College of Implantology.
